Chapter 1 of Twist of Fate by Olivia Peters

Sweet Redemption book blurb

I’m querying my completed manuscript, Sweet Redemption. I decided to try the traditional route before I consider self-publishing because I see a lot of value in working with an experienced literary agent. Read the Sweet Redemption book blurb down below to learn more!

My hero and heroine are Trevor Campbell and Brooklyn Winslow. My secondary characters, Maddison Lockwood and Zane Griffin, were incredibly popular with my beta readers (who asked me to write a separate book for their love story – best feedback ever).

Brooklyn and Trevor

Brooklyn

Breaking off my marriage of convenience to start a smoldering affair turns my world upside down. Trevor was supposed to be worth it. He nearly made me spontaneously combust in bed while showing me a love I never thought possible outside of it.

Except it was all a lie. Happily ever after with a man who betrayed me? Not a chance.

Trevor

I planned to destroy Brooklyn because someone had to pay for the sins of her father. Instead, her touched healed everything that was broken inside me and I fell hopelessly in love with my enemy’s daughter.

Brooklyn thinks she can end us, but I’m not spending another day without her by my side. Give up on our love? Never, even if it kills me.

  1. Ooooh, I love it!!!!

I’m both a reader and an author. One of my big goals for 2018 is to finally finish the novel that I started in 2012. I added more than 20,000 new words to it during the month of April, when I participated in my first-ever Camp NaNoWriMo. I loved it so much, that I fully intend to sign up for Camp again in July, and hopefully the full NaNoWriMo in November, for the first time in four years!

    1. I am reading less than I’d like to lately because I’m so focused on writing! I simply need more hours in the day to do all of the things I want to do, lol. I haven’t participated in NaNoWriMo before, but I do try to spend time each day writing. Maybe I’ll try it out in November!

What is your book about? 🙂

      1. I hear you! I barely read during April because I was so focused on my Camp goal. That’s awesome that you work to write each day – I’m working toward that myself. NaNoWriMo is pretty cool, I say go for it!

My book is a young adult thriller about a strange summer camp in Maine. The teenagers go there, and no one can truly explain their experiences afterward. I’m having a lot of fun with it, so far.

      2. That sounds very intriguing! I admire people who can write for the YA audience – I haven’t tackled that particular challenge and I don’t think I’d be great at it.

        I can’t wait to read it!! 🙂
