Twist of Fate book blurbs

I am currently querying my completed manuscript, Twist of Fate. I decided to try the traditional route before I consider self-publishing because I see a lot of value in working with an experience literary agent. You can learn more about my book below!

Twist of Fate Book Blurbs

My hero and heroine are Trevor Campbell and Brooklyn Winslow. My secondary characters, Maddison Lockwood and Zane Griffin, were incredibly popular with my beta readers (who asked me to write a separate book for their love story – best feedback ever).

I have written two separate book blurbs to give you insight into both of my couples below. Let me know what you think in the comments and don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Instagram so you never miss an update!

Olivia Puharski Twist of Fate

Brooklyn and Trevor

It’s not easy being Arch Winslow’s daughter. Brooklyn leads a privileged life under her mega-rich father’s thumb and she’s never made an independent decision in her life. She gave up her dreams of being a professional ballerina and stays with the perfect-for-her-on-paper Jake Livingston.

Enter Trevor Campbell and her life changes. Risking everything, Brooklyn starts an explosive affair with Trevor that consumes them both. Neither meant to fall in love and only Trevor knows the devastating consequences. Trevor and Arch have an intertwined past so powerful it could tear Brooklyn from his arms forever.

Maddie and Zane

Brooklyn’s best friend, Maddison Lockwood, accepts the price of admission for marrying her own version of Jake. She turns a blind eye to Noah Rutherford’s lying and cheating, blinded by her vision of living in the lap of luxury as his wife.

When Maddie meets Trevor’s best friend, Zane Griffin, she falls in love with the man who fiercely dominates her in bed and tenderly worships her out of it. Unlike Brooklyn, Maddie knows love isn’t enough and has no problem using Zane and breaking his heart…until the night everything changes.

Final verdict: this modern day romance is a rollercoaster of sexual temptation and emotional risk leaving Brooklyn and Maddison to decide if they have the courage to give up everything to follow their hearts.

  1. Ooooh, I love it!!!!

I’m both a reader and an author. One of my big goals for 2018 is to finally finish the novel that I started in 2012. I added more than 20,000 new words to it during the month of April, when I participated in my first-ever Camp NaNoWriMo. I loved it so much, that I fully intend to sign up for Camp again in July, and hopefully the full NaNoWriMo in November, for the first time in four years!

    1. I am reading less than I’d like to lately because I’m so focused on writing! I simply need more hours in the day to do all of the things I want to do, lol. I haven’t participated in NaNoWriMo before, but I do try to spend time each day writing. Maybe I’ll try it out in November!

What is your book about? 🙂

      1. I hear you! I barely read during April because I was so focused on my Camp goal. That’s awesome that you work to write each day – I’m working toward that myself. NaNoWriMo is pretty cool, I say go for it!

My book is a young adult thriller about a strange summer camp in Maine. The teenagers go there, and no one can truly explain their experiences afterward. I’m having a lot of fun with it, so far.

      2. That sounds very intriguing! I admire people who can write for the YA audience – I haven’t tackled that particular challenge and I don’t think I’d be great at it.

        I can’t wait to read it!! 🙂
