Kinder Links programming is supported by Child and Youth Services—Department of Families

PROGRAMMING FOR PRESCHOOLERS & THEIR PARENTS

Kinder Links programs provide young families—with children birth to age five—with the opportunity to play, learn, and connect with each other. These FREE parent-child programs feature fun, educational ways to explore literacy, numeracy, physical health and well-being, and creativity through art experiences, rhymes, stories, activities, and games. Kinder Links programs are an excellent way for young children to develop a lifelong passion for learning, develop their skills and self-confidence, and help prepare them for the adventure of school!

Kinder Links programs are a welcoming, inclusive place where parents/caregivers can meet other families from the community, develop new friendships, and share parenting resources. We are proud to offer high quality parent-child programming seven days a week to meet the needs of families living in 91PORN¹Ù·½ neighbourhoods. Join in the fun mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends from September to June.

PARENTING SUPPORT

Supported by Child and Youth Services—Department of Families

We offer a variety of parenting support workshops and programs. There is no fee to attend but registration is required. Child care is provided for these workshops and programs unless otherwise noted. The most recent parenting support newsletter can be found below.

MAILING LIST

Join the Kinder Links mailing list to receive regular updates on our FREE parent-child programs and parenting support initiatives. Simply fill out this online form:

SONG SHEETS

Participants will receive an email with the songs our facilitators plan to teach during circle time. We will learn the songs/chants together so don't worry if you don't know the rhymes already. At our parent-child programs, we make a point of repeating songs several times to help your family learn and enjoy the rhymes. Printed copies of the song sheet will be available upon request for your use at home.

PROGRAM EVALUATIONS

Following the final class, all participants will be sent a link to complete an online evaluation. Your comments and suggestions are very important to us, help guide our programming decisions, and are shared in reports to our funders.

FREE BABY GIFT FOR NEW PARENTS

Congratulations on your new baby! 91PORN¹Ù·½ School Division and the Kinder Links would like to help you celebrate this wonderful event. We have a FREE book, I Love It When You, which we'd love to give to you to keep and enjoy. To receive your copy of this book, contact Kinder Links at kinderlinks@retsd.mb.ca or 204.669.4043. Please leave your home mailing address, phone number and your child's name and date of birth.
